Flights & Accomodation
We will depart Houston (IAH) on Saturday, December 28th via Frankfurt (Germany), and come back from Nairobi (via Frankfurt again) on Monday, January 13th. Flight tickets have been pre-booked, so you do not need to worry about making any travel arrangements on your own, other than being at the airport 3 hours prior to departure. The cost of the plane tickets is already included in the price of the program. In fact, the price you pay for the program includes all local transportation as well (except any travel you might do on your own).

In Nairobi, we will be staying at Bonsai Villa. This is a large 12-room house in the diplomatic quarter of Nairobi. This is a very safe neighborhood, close to the United Nations Headquarters in Nairobi, and just across the street from Village Market, an outdoor shopping mall with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops.
On Sunday, January 5 we will travel from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park for a two-day safari. The trip will include a one-night stay at Kibo Safari Camp and two game drives, one inside and one outside the park.
In Mombasa, we will stay at Armaan Suites & Restaurant in the northern part of the city. This is a small hotel, and some of the rooms have large queen-sized beds that will have to be shared.
On the last two days of the program, you will be staying in Diani at Stitls Backpackers - Diani Beach.
